About The Hearing Eye

This book, which assumes little general musical background, is designed as a comprehensive course book for lower secondary school students. The main emphasis is on the development of aural skills and literacy and students are involved in a wide range of activities - practical, aural, written, vocal and instrumental. The Hearing Eye series comprises three interrelated components. The student's book is a workbook into which students write their answers; the teacher's book contains all the material of the student's book, with completed answers and textual commentary; and the musical examples in the teacher's and student's books are available on a set of 4 CDs.
