About The Seeing Ear The Seeing Ear is a book of exercises in general musicianship. It aims to establish firm aural foundations and general musicianship, and is directed mainly to upper secondary school students (although it could also be used by first year tertiary students). The exercises foster the development of a wide range of aural skills such as the ability to recognise modulations, canonic imitation, and sequential progressions. Like the Hearing Eye series, the Seeing Ear series comprises three interrelated components - a teacher's book, a student's workbook, and a matching set of CDs. Student's Book:
